Well Sunday was good with the Packer game, even though it was a nail biter, it was better that we had the lead and they needed to catch up. Go Pack.
A tough week for Marie and Chris. Although Marie has been getting stronger, she still has a ways to go and has some issues to work through. John was going down hill quickly and it became apparent his time here on earth would come to an end soon. It sounds like his body started shutting down a couple of days ago, and he passed away this evening. So no more pain, no more confusion.
Marie had done a wonderful job of taking care of him for a number of years now. It seems that John went quickly, but only because Marie’s hard work with him for so long as his symptoms became worse. And having seen what dementia did to Marie and Chris’s Mom, I know it is a blessing that John can go home to the Lord and not linger on in a nursing home.
So please say a prayer for John, and for Marie to keep gaining her strength as she has to think of her life adjusting to John not being there.
Marie says thank you for these kind words. We’ll miss John so much.
I am saddened by your news. May John find peace and comfort with our God, Marie find the strength to get through this especially difficult time, and Chris be empowered to support her sister. May you never forget your most treasured memories of John.
Marie and Chris and Randy,
So sorry for your loss. John was a wonderful guy but now is at peace and is Marie’s guardian angel watching over her. Hugs and prayers for all of you. John and Deb
Marie, Our prayers are with you. We know that John is in heaven praying for all of us. So good that Chris is there with you. May God glide you through this adjustment phase.
May a strong faith, and support of family and friends help Marie, Chris, and all through this difficult time.
I am sad for the news and sorry for Marie’s loss. It is good that Chris was there to support her at the time of her loss. You and Chris have had a bad winter. I will pray that you have a better spring. My prayers are with you.
