Happy Easter!
We continue to enjoy life here in South Florida. Weather has continued to be good and Chris, Marie and I have had our 2nd Covid shots. There is a good feeling to that. We have been out to a few places to eat and enjoying it. Most of our neighbors have had their shots also and we all feel better for it. Some short term side effects but well worth it. I also received my 1st and 2nd shingles shots so my doctor should be happy I am all caught up. Now once I get my new implant tooth I will be a new man.
We have tried to keep up with some old friends. An old workmate was in South Florida and we were able to meet up for a fun afternoon. We were also able to visit Chris and Marie’s cousin Jackie for an afternoon. Chris’s Swiss cousin Charles keeps us updated on the Europe front. Cousin Walter is still skiing with his Alpine group and we saw some beautiful pictures of that.
Marie has headed back to New Mexico, MJ is here for Spring break. We try to enjoy the blessings that we have been given. We hope Easter brings you blessings and a wonderful year ahead.
Happy Easter Chris, Randy and Mary. Your photos look wonderful. Here Spring has sprung with many birds back and people raking their yards, docks being put in and a lot of boats on the lake.
I’m a bit slower getting my yard in shape but John and Susie are ready with their rakes and will soon come for a day to get it all done. I’m still thinking snow. My Dad always said wait until after the “Ice Men” days and I do remember snow in May, so I’m not in a hurry. It’s nice to see neighbors out and about and haven’t met the new neighbors that took down Pete’s house and put up the huge house that is there now. Hard to think I’m the oldest person in the neighborhood now. YIIIIIIIII. Still busy at the Pantry of course, too busy. Hoping to meet up with you Chris when you return to Oshkosh and hope Marie will be coming also. I miss our lunch together. So again Happy Easter, take care. Hugs Barbara
Happy Easter to you all. So glad all is well with y’all. Very much enjoy seeing your pictures Randy It’s been a good winter but it’s very nice to see such an early spring. The birds are singing and the crocuses are blooming. Then I think of all the work that’s to come and thankful that we still can do do it and funnily enjoy it. Ron and I got our first vaccine shot and that felt really good. Gives you hope that this pandemic will come to an end soon. Hopefully we’ll be able to join you in sunny Florida next year. Say Hello to everyone for us and in the meantime take care and stay healthy.
Luv Verna and Ron
Happy Easter to you as well.
We had our 1st Covid vaccine last Wednesday (Pfizer) 2nd shot scheduled for July. They schedule it different here. Anyhow, the virus is still going full speed here. The entire Province of Ontario is in lock down untill April 28th. This is the 3rd wave, and hopefully the last.Still very hopeful we’ll get back there this winter.
Stay safe and say hi to all the crew for us.
Having a great time in Mississippi with Jim and Nancy. Getting a lot of golfing in. See you this summer. We all got our shots too. Actually all kids and grandchildren except the wee ones are vaccinated. It feels great
