Getting to the end of April already. Things are getting quiet here in Florida as more of our neighbors have headed north. Pete and Pat left today, which leaves a few of us who have not left yet. The good news is that the weather north has improved a lot lately. It looks like Wisconsin has gone from record setting snow to spring temperatures. Chris and I plan to be here at least a couple of more weeks and give the weather a chance to stay warm before we get home. We have a couple of things planned to take care of before we leave, but will be relaxing and enjoying the end of our winter. We have already started to clean out our refrigerator and pantry. And there are always favorite places to eat to visit one last time. We had some rain this last weekend but the weather is great here. Warm but the humidity has dropped so the ocean breezes are cool. We are starting to think about our slow drive home. Possibly Savannah, Ashville, and Lexington on the way home. But nothing solid yet. We will take our time and try to limit the continuous hours in the car – have to be parked by cocktail hour. We have no dates we have to be anywhere until the beginning of June when we head to Hayward.
We are arriving at our 40th anniversary. Chris has had unending patience; MJ did not get much choice! I have been incredibly lucky to have them both. We have had a lot of fun and probably more than a few tense moments. The time has gone too quickly. I added a few old pictures today, you can try and guess the years!
Through the years. Very nice.
Great pictures…..how the years fly. I hope some of the neighbors will be able to get together….I could work on that at this end…Let me know…..Hope to see you soon. Yes the weather is getting very nice here. You do know when it’s 50 degrees it’s Summer in Wisconsin right??? smile
Take care and travel safe. See you soon….Barb
Happy anniversary! Loved the pictures! See you soon! Oh, John said to tell you Winnegamie is opened and he has a free 18 holes with a cart waiting for you.
Safe travels back to Wisconsin!
Would love to have you stop by as Ash Flat is close to the Tennessee and Missouri borders.
I refuse to believe the year you were married is 40 years ago. It has to be like 30 or even 20. Yep, that is what it is.
WOW. YOU BOTH LOOK TOO YOUNG TO HAVE A 40 !!! CONGRATULATIONS AND MANY, MANY MORE. BY THE WAY–I HAVE FORGOTTEN WHICH ANNIVERSARY THIS IS, I THINK IT IS THE CRAFT BREW MUG, RIGHT CHRIS. LOVE YOU GUYS, SEE YOU IN DOOR THIS FALL.
OH YEAH. DRIVE CAREFULLY. THERE ARE MANY IDIOTS OUT THERE. IT’S SCARY. I’M NOT ABSOLUTELY SURE IT’S THEM AND NOT US. KAREN AND ALLE
