Another month flying by. Florida is getting into the warm rainy season. We keep finding ways to keep busy. We had new tile installed on the lanai this month and are very happy with it. So that should be the last of our tile projects. And I redid the guest closet, cleaning painting and redoing the shelves. We have kept up with our happy hours but they keep getting smaller. Marie went home this week and it sounds like her flights went well. Dan and Christy left this week, and Chris and I are thinking of leaving Memorial Day. We will watch the weather, right now it looks like we may hit some rain next week but if it is not steady thunderstorms we will be OK. If we need to delay a day or two we can do that too. As usual we do not want long days in the car, even though we won’t do much sight seeing this trip. We are thinking 4 days to get home, starting to lay out some tentative plans. Hopefully in the fall we can add the sight seeing, but who knows. For now we will get to see Oshkosh again and get a feel for what our summer plans will be. We are still planning on Door County in July, and considering moving apartments since we are gone more than we are there. But one day at a time. Everyone stay safe, and see some of you soon.

It’s good to hear your plans. It’s true, the rainy season is here. I wish I got to see Marie and you and Chris before you all left, but it wasn’t in the cards. I am working from home until school is out in 12 days (but who’s counting). I’m staying in, except for grocery shopping and going to my brother’s on Sunday. My father has to see his son, and they are staying in as well. I’m trying to keep my dad from getting this virus, although I think he had it Dec./Jan. I love your new tile, nice. Marie’s porch is nice and I like your happy hours bunch.

The updates look lovely! Have a safe trip, it’s a weird time to be traveling for sure. We are fortunate to be able to stay put over here, but its a mixed blessing as we are all certainly getting a little stir crazy.
See you soon. Hoping contacts can be made so we can get the neighbors together for a breakfast or lunch out. Would be nice to catch up with the “old” group. Nice here now but rain for the weekend. Travel safe.
Welcome back to WI! We just cancelled our Door County plans, unfortunately, and now will be headed to TN and MS in early July. I know – going the wrong direction in the middle of summer. Hopefully after our business in MS we can find somewhere a bit cooler until it’s time to head south for the winter.
