We are preparing to head to the airport after a number of beautiful days in Florida. It is currently 76 degrees in Boynton Beach and 18 degrees in Omro. So why are we going back? I guess it is about finances supporting our lifestyle. We came down last Wednesday night and it was great weather when we arrived. The first few days Chris says were perfect. The last few is unusual higher humidity for this time of year. But that will changed back in a day or two. They had predicted a lot of clouds but we have had a lot of sunshine each day. I love it. We both have been working each day, so that cuts into some fun time. But it is worth it to look out at the palm trees and to log off by 4 pm and walk out into the warmth. I am hoping my boss lets this continue! We will be back soon and will start the New Year back in warm weather.
We had come down for the Christmas boat parade on the intercoastal. I have been trying for years to get good pictures, but a moving boat at night is hard. Actually Chris’s phone did a better job! We have had fun, the parade, the pool, Farmers market and cigar shop! For now I need to go home and hook up the plow to the ATV. We hope all are doing well and the Christmas season treats you well.
You need to let me know when the boat parade is next year maybe I will fly down for it if you have room for me.
Hi Chris and Randy,
At least one thing is warm back in WI – your welcome home! Loved the pictures; coincidentally, I had been thinking about past visits and the image of walking on the beach with you popped into my mind. I did get to see a night -time “Holidazzle”parade when visiting Noelle’s the week before – I was not wearing shorts though! BTW, Sam introduced me to a “beer chart” that you might be interested in:http://popchartlab.com/products/the-very-many-varieties-of-beer
I hope we can get together soon to discuss the merits of the chart (while enjoying some of the products on it,) and maybe one of those Hananeros. Meanwhile, may God be with you and family, my best wishes for a wonderful Holiday Season!
Hi Chris and Randy,
Nice pictures. We have about 4 feet of snow which is very unusual for this time of the year. Thank God I traded in my old snow thrower against a new one wich I can start with 230V so I don’t have to fiddle around with the pull starter and the chocke any more. No more pain in the back and lots of saved nerves and curses for other things…..
Sorry to hear you have that much snow! But congratulations on the new snow thrower! As we get older we deserve better tools! That is why I have the ATV and plow. I had to rebuild my snow thrower twice with the big driveway we have. Make sure to let us know if you make it to Florida this winter. I owe you a couple of drinks for taking care of the girls!
Hi Everyone, Looking at the pictures and will be in a few starting January 8th, when I arrive in beautiful Florida. Chuck you can have all the snow. I’ll settle for warm temps. a dip in the pool and sitting in the sun. Everyone have very HAPPY HOLIDAYS. MARIE
The pool was wonderful! I worked several days so did not get to take enough advantage of it. but warm sun sure feels good. Looks like the airstream is bringing cool weather south to New Mexico again!
